Public Transport Victoria (PTV) oversees fare structures and manages the myki ticketing system across Victoria.
The fares are based on where you are travelling:
- Metropolitan areas – covering Melbourne and its suburbs
- Regional Victoria – covering the rest of Victoria
Your fare depends on:
- Where you travel, including zones (if you are using myki)
- Ticket type, such as a 2-hour or daily ticket
- Whether you are eligible for a concession or free travel
- Any additional discounts you can claim
To travel, you’ll need a myki card. Choose between:
- A physical myki card
A Mobile myki (available on compatible Android devices)
