As the local public transport provider serving Geelong and surrounding communities, we understand the importance of supporting organisations that bring people together and create opportunities for young people to thrive. Corio Little Athletics Centre does exactly that.
Established as the seventh Little Athletics centre in Victoria, Corio Little Athletics has become a cornerstone of the local community. Each season, hundreds of young athletes take to the track and field, learning valuable life skills such as resilience, teamwork, commitment and self-belief.
What makes the centre particularly special is its focus on personal improvement. While some athletes dream of competing at the highest levels of the sport, the primary focus is on individual growth and achieving personal bests. Every achievement, big or small, is celebrated.
The centre is also known for its inclusive and welcoming culture. Young athletes from all backgrounds and abilities are encouraged to participate, creating an environment where everyone feels valued and supported. Families play a vital role in the club’s success, with community volunteers helping to create a fun, safe and positive experience for all involved.
This strong sense of belonging is reflected in the way members proudly come together as Team Corio at competitions and events across the region.
